Software development experience of this group in addition to solid Digital Signal Processing (DSP) implementation background in C and Assembler languages include strong MATLAB skills for computer based modelling as well as development of graphical user interfaces (GUI). Within latest projects, substantial knowledge was accumulated in exploiting LabWindows/CVI software development system for PC-based virtual instrument design working with custom-made hardware.

Systems designed by the group include devices built around the Intel 8051 and Texas Instruments MSP430 series microcontrollers and Texas Instruments TMS320 DSP processors, programmed in Assembly and C languages. Experience and skills are suitable for projects involving hardware design on the basis of embedded processors, ALTERA PLDs, RF communication modules and/or programming of embedded systems, including those that exploit DSP.
